    This course will provide a foundational understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the essential elements of educational assessment with a focus on diverse populations. In particular, formative and summative assessment methods will receive a strong focus, as well as numerous other assessment strategies for diverse learners, including placement, diagnostic, self and peer assessment, alternative, and authentic and portfolio assessment.
