Instrumental analysis of proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids. Methods may include ultracentrifugation; gradient separation of proteins and nucleic acids; UV/visible spectroscopy; mass spectrometry; X-ray diffraction of proteins and nucleic acids; HPLC of proteins.
