ENGL 4379 - Topics in Rhetoric and Writing Credit(s): 3
This course will expose undergraduate students to different genres of writing and new critical modes that fall outside of traditional literary studies and into closely aligned fields, such as rhetorical studies and technical writing. It also will ask students to think critically about their own writing processes as they develop theories of composition and as they prepare documents for the many different types of readers their work will encounter outside the classroom. Students must be communication core complete or have the permission of the instructor to take this course. Repeated: May be repeated for up to six credit hours.
