MRCH 3304 - Retail Trend Analysis and Forecasting Credit(s): 3
Study of the systematic and analytical processes in predicting and understanding changes in societal and consumer behavior through learning the skills of forecasting and analyzing trends. These include data collection related to culture, economy and technology that may influence future trends and buyer preferences. This lecture course will explore the impact of digital platforms, such as social media, crowd sourcing, digital influencers and the use of technology, such as augmented reality.
