AVSC 1100 - Private Pilot Flight Lab I

  1. Private Pilot Flight Lab I is part one of two parts covering those Federal Aviation Administration requirements for the aeronautical knowledge outlined in 14CFR §61, 14CFR §141 and FAA Airman Certification Standards. Private Flight Lab I will develop the student’s knowledge to preflight, taxi, takeoff, depart the local aerodrome traffic pattern, return to the aerodrome traffic pattern, and land the airplane in a manner that demonstrates the skill necessary to safely execute the first solo. In addition, the student will learn basic flying skills, stall recovery procedures, ground reference maneuvers, flight by reference to instruments, spin awareness, collision avoidance and wake turbulence avoidance. This course is a prerequisite for Private Pilot Flight Lab II.
