NURS 3205 - Introduction to Nursing Credit(s): 2
This course is designed to aid the nursing student in exploring the profession of nursing. The course’s emphasis is on explaining the use of critical thinking and study skills that are pertinent to nursing courses and mathematical strategies for medication dosages. Several other topics to be covered include nursing theory, history, roles, ethics, medical terminology and the health care system as a whole. Non-Course Prerequisite(s): Admission to the DeWitt School of Nursing Co-requisite Course(s): FORS 4041
