NISS 5190 - Thesis Credit(s): 1 To 6
In this course students complete a major research project to demonstrate their mastery of the research process, analytical skills, and ability to produce a well-written and properly cited paper that contributes to the body of knowledge in their field of study. This 16-week course provides sufficient time and opportunity for students to apply their advanced research and analytic skills to a topic relevant to the field of Intelligence or homeland security and of sufficient national security interest. This course requires permission of the NISS program coordinator and can only be taken at the end of a student’s master’s program. Repeated: No Non-Course Prerequisite(s): Permission of program chair
