MUT 305 - Advanced Microphone Techniques

Credit(s): 2

Study of the art and science of utilizing microphones to record various instruments and voices in the studio and on location. Topics to be covered include stereo and multi-microphone techniques, capturing the sound of different ensembles and further aspects of microphone design.
Concurrently: To be taken concurrently with Introduction of Audio Technology (MUT 220 )..
Course Fee: Course fee $200.
Prerequisite(s): MUT 205
