NUR 406 - Nursing Care of Complex Health Needs

This course provides students the opportunity to apply critical thinking, nursing theory, research and practice to acutely ill clients of diverse spiritual, ethno-cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in a variety of clinical settings. Emphasis is placed on meeting needs of acutely ill clients and the nurse’s role in addressing legal, ethical and economic issues within the interdisciplinary health care team.
