SED 525 - Motivating and Managing the Active Learning Environment Credit(s): 3
This course challenges candidates to reflect on ways to implement research-based engagement strategies and classroom management techniques for a diverse and learner-centered classroom. Through a lens of critical and culturally responsive pedagogy, candidates will reflect on topics, such as classroom organization and procedures, developmentally appropriate behavioral expectations, educator ethics and leadership. Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing
