NURS 5362 - Assessment and Evaluation of Nursing Education

This course examines the role of the nurse educator in assessment and evaluation of learning in nursing education. The student will apply diverse strategies to evaluate student-learning outcomes. Development of instructional objectives, test item writing and statistical analysis will be explored. Legal, ethical, governing processes and the importance of evaluating teaching effectiveness are examined.
