NURS 5310 - Health Promotion

This course focuses on the master’s of science nurse’s role in the promotion of health across the lifespan in a variety of settings. The concepts of health, health promotion, disease prevention epidemiology and risk reduction and teaching/learning strategies are evaluated and integrated into the development and implementation of a plan of care. Students will analyze local, national, and global trends that impact health and health promotion.
