MILS 2201 - Leadership and Ethics Credit(s): 2
Lectures, seminar and practical application focused on leadership and ethics. The course adds depth to cadets’ knowledge of different leadership styles. Cadets will conduct a leadership analysis of famous leaders and self-assessment of their own leadership style. The Army profession is presented through the understanding of values and ethics, and how to apply both to different situations cadets may encounter as leaders. Army values and ethics and their relationship to the Law of Armed Conflict and philosophy of military service are also discussed. Cadets are then required to apply their knowledge outside the classroom during hands-on, performance-oriented environments at the weekly lab. Students desiring credit for leadership laboratory must enroll in MILS 2107 . When Offered: Fall only. Repeated: No Co-requisite Course(s): MILS 2107
