MUEN 1134 - Orchestra

MUEN 1134 “Orchestra” (1 credit) meets three times each week (MTR) for a total of 5.75 hours and fulfills the large-ensemble requirement for the degree in music. Students develop their musicianship and ensemble skills through regular large-group practice, sectional rehearsals, and individual practice. Students present an average of three concerts each semester with accompanying 3-hour dress rehearsals. Regular individual practice and sectional rehearsals are necessary for success in the course and should amount to no less than 2 hours per week. Prerequisite: this course is open to SFA students by audition.
