HLTH 4320 - Cultural Diversity and Cultural Competence

This is an advanced-level course that considers the issue of human diversity, including race, ethnicity, culture, nationality, spirituality, sexual orientation, gender identity and ability. Students will explore diversity related to individuals, communities and society and learn standard models of multicultural competence that emphasize knowledge, awareness and skills that are both interpersonal and professional.
