Objectives

Graduate courses in economics and finance may be taken as part of the requirements in the M.B.A. program and also may be used as part of a graduate minor in general business for non-M.B.A. programs. Economics and finance courses help the graduate student to better understand the complex economic environment in which today’s business firms and other institutions operate. They also expose the student to current techniques of research and quantitative analysis that are helpful in making optimal managerial decisions.
