Graduate Programs
Graduate programs are designed to assist professionals who wish to prepare for new professional roles or to complement and supplement their present roles. For the public school teacher, graduate programs provide further preparation in areas of specialization. For the public school teacher choosing to prepare for a professional service position, such as administrator, counselor or educational diagnostician, the program provides an entire graduate degree program. For community service professionals and allied health services professionals, master’s degrees and graduate study, some leading to state and/or national licensing or certifications, also are available in the School of Education Studies, the School of Allied Health Studies, and the School of Human Sciences and Professional Studies.
The two doctoral programs are offered in the School of Education Studies and the School of Allied Health Studies. The doctoral program in educational leadership is offered in the School of Education Studies and delivered online to cohorts of students with a new cohort of students beginning each summer. The doctoral program in school and health services psychology is offered within the School of Allied Health Studies and delivered to cohorts of students with a new cohort beginning each fall.
