The Master of Science in natural science with a concentration in geology consists of 36 semester hours of graduate courses without a thesis or 24 semester hours of graduate courses plus six hours of thesis research and writing (GOL 589  and GOL 590 ). Students wishing to pursue this degree must have a background in geology.
