Sociology Minor

The department does not offer a graduate degree in sociology, anthropology or geography. A graduate minor in sociology or geography consists of a minimum of nine semester hours of courses in the discipline. Fewer than nine semester hours are regarded as electives.

The department cooperates with other departments to offer a graduate certificate in sustainability. This certificate requires one of the following courses (HMS 508  or SWK 532 ) and three of the following courses (FOR 542 , GEO 504 , HMS 508  if not used above, PBA 530  or SWK 532  if not used above).

The department also participates in the M.I.S. program, the M.S. in resource communication program in forestry, and the M.S. in human sciences program.
