The music education track in the Master of Music is designed to provide teachers with advanced skills and knowledge to succeed in the public schools or in teaching college. Students may select one of four concentrations: instrumental, choral, elementary/general music or conducting. Students entering this degree should have an undergraduate degree in music.

Foundations of Music Education
Applied Instruction
Six hours of: Seminar
Must be titled Seminar in Literature. Three hours of: Applied Ensemble
Two hours from: Literature
Three hours from: Music Education
One course from: Music Electives
One credit hour of Music Electives from MHL, MTC, MUE, MUP or MUS prefixes. |
