Objectives

Leadership is the study and practice of influence in leader-follower(s) relationships across a variety of organizations and social contexts. People considering leadership in their community or profession may desire a minor in leadership. The leadership minor is available to any student pursuing an undergraduate degree at SFA.

Notes:


All substitutions for required and elective courses must be approved by the coordinator and unit head of the Communication Studies program.

Students who would like to enroll in COMM 3390 Internship must submit an application using the College of Liberal and Applied Arts internship approval process.

ROTC students can apply ROTC/Military coursework toward six hours of the minor. Military Sciences courses other than those provided in the Elective Courses block must be approved by the Leadership Minor Coordinator and the unit head of the Communications Studies program.
