Seven hours from: Recital Attendance
Complete with a grade of “P”, six semesters of: Music Electives
8 hours of Music Electives from MHL, MTC, MUP, MUS or MUT prefixes. Excludes MUS 140, 141 and 161. Professional Educators Core for Music Education Majors
This core will satisfy all state requirements, and meet all requires competencies that are met through the Professional Education core, but from the unique perspective of being a teacher in a music classroom. 5. Hours needed to total 120
