Geology, MS

The geology Master of Science with thesis requires completion of 30 semester hours of graduate geology courses, including 24 semester hours of coursework and six hours of thesis research (GEOL 5389) and thesis writing (GEOL 5390). The geology Master of Science nonthesis option requires completion of 36 semester hours of graduate geology courses, including three semester hours of graduate research (GEOL 5388) or thesis research (GEOL 5389). Both thesis and nonthesis options can include up to six hours of approved courses in other science disciplines.
