SFA offers two program options for students pursuing their Master of Professional Accountancy. A student does not need a bachelor’s degree in business for the MPAc.
BBA to MPAc 5-year program
One of only a few integrated BBA/MPAc programs in Texas, our five-year program allows you to earn your bachelor’s degree in accounting and your Master of Professional Accountancy at the same time. The MPAc curriculum fulfills all the eligibility requirements for the Texas CPA exam, so you’ll be 100% qualified to take the exam upon graduation. Learn more on the Accounting, MPAC (5-Year Program) page.
MPAc stand-alone program
The MPAc stand-alone program is for students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree in any field. For those wanting to take the Texas CPA exam, the curriculum fulfills all the eligibility requirements, so you’ll be 100% qualified to take the exam upon graduation. Learn more on the Accounting, MPAC (Stand-Alone) page.
Optional concentration
If you choose, you can add a concentration in forensic accounting and analytics without adding on extra time to your MPAc program. This is a great option if you’d like to pursue a career in anti-fraud.
