Bioinformatics, Minor

Bioinformatics is a scientific discipline under the umbrella of statistics and biological sciences that collects, studies, and analyzes biological data and information, such as DNA, proteins, amino acid sequences and gene expression. The bioinformatics minor provides specialized training in biology, bioinformatics, statistics, and statistical programming languages for students interested in careers in health, biological sciences or related scientific disciplines.

NOTE:


A student must have a grade of C or higher in all courses that are prerequisite to a required course before enrolling in that course.
