Admission Requirements

Required Core

The following courses are required for all areas:

• SPED 5315 - Foundations of Visual Impairment Credit(s): 3
• SPED 5367 - Trends in Educating Exceptional Children Credit(s): 3

Area of Concentration

Complete one of the following:

• Educational Diagnostician Certification Concentration  
• Orientation and Mobility Concentration  
• Visual Impairment Concentration  

Comprehensive Exam

A final comprehensive exam (either written, oral or both) is required during the last semester of enrollment.
