Spanish, Minor

A minor in Spanish consists of 23 semester hours that may be completed on campus or via distance. Required courses include: SPAN 1311, 1111, 1312, 1112, 2311 or 2313, 2312 or 2315, and 3303. Students who speak Spanish may be eligible to begin at a higher level based on department placement test scores, and earn bypass credit by passing the entry level course with a C or better. Heritage speakers may begin with SPAN 2313 and earn bypass credit by earning a C or better. Any substitutions must be approved by the department head.
