MTH 098 - Introductory Algebra

A non-credit course designed to prepare students to be successful in MTH 099. Basic operations and properties of real numbers, geometry, beginning algebraic concepts, simplification, linear equations, applications, linear graphs and polynomials. Includes instruction in proper mathematical organization and math-specific study skills. May be required of students with a marginal background in mathematics.
