HLTH 3385 - Introduction to Health Care Administration

This course will give an overview of the various aspects of healthcare administration. Students will be introduced to a broad range of topics in order to increase their understanding of American healthcare, including but not limited to: healthcare policy, finance, law, IT, organizational behavior, marketing, ethics, physician relations and HR. Students will also learn about job opportunities within healthcare administration and how the field is evolving, as well as graduate school opportunities.
