GIS 552 - Introduction to Digital Remote Sensing

Two hours lecture and three hours lab per week. Introduction to the theoretical and practical applications of digital remote sensing for natural resource management. Specifics include history and overview of remote sensing, electromagnetic spectrum, image acquisition, image classification and accuracy assessment. Course fee $30.
