NURS 3158 - Exploring Grief

This course provides an overview of the issues associated with grief and grieving. The focus will be on ethnocultural and spiritual perspectives. Students will reflect on death, dying, grief and loss. The course will assist nurses in identifying the required therapeutic communication strategies and skills to meet the needs of those experiencing grief or loss.
