AVSC 1202 - Private Pilot Ground II

This course covers Federal Aviation Administration requirements for the aeronautical knowledge outlined in 14CFR §61, 14CFR §141 and FAA airman certification standards. It will develop the student’s knowledge concerning federal aviation regulations, aeromedical factors, aeronautical decision-making, aviation weather and aviation weather services. The student will become proficient in using charts, publications, flight computers and navigation systems to plan cross-country flights through the national airspace system. The knowledge and skills acquired in Private Pilot Ground II will develop the student’s ability to competently complete the FAA private pilot airplane single engine land practical exam.
