DRAM 2300 - Human and Artistic Theatre Development Credit(s): 3
This course centers on the developmental study of lifespan through the lens of artistic development; birth through death. Content includes an overview of the grand theories of development, parenting styles and discipline methods, and sequences of physical, cognitive, and social and emotional development. Environmental and social factors that influence development, birth, and physical growth and development through the lifespan are addressed. All of these factors will be addressed through the theatre arts classroom, preparing students to use their knowledge of human development to influence their educational philosophies.
