ARTS 4362 - Art Education V: Art Classroom Management and Program Development

This capstone course includes service learning involving the Boys & Girls Club. Topics covered include curriculum and instruction development, classroom management, materials management and safety, planning, and program development. In addition, the course addresses program and classroom management and development, applied theory in classroom settings, materials inventory, classroom design, portfolio preparation, and teaching the skills necessary for introducing art created by self and others in a wide range of cultural contexts.
