NURS 3606 - Basic Nursing Care of Adult Clients Credit(s): 6
This course utilizes a prerequisite knowledge base from core curriculum and concurrent nursing courses to provide students with an opportunity for acquisition and application of theory, research, practice and the beginnings of critical thinking in nursing practice. In an introduction to nursing care of adults, students will learn to communicate and interact with clients and with members of the interdisciplinary health care team. Students will learn to utilize the nursing process when providing holistic care to clients of diverse spiritual, ethnocultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
