SOCW 3372 - Social Work Evaluation and Statistics

The purpose of this course is to introduce you to statistical methods relevant to evidence-based social work practice and evaluation. You will learn how to select, calculate and interpret appropriate statistics applicable to common data analysis situations related to generalist social work practice. You will also develop your knowledge and skills related to the latest version of the Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS). This course serves as the foundation for advanced social work research courses, including SOCW 4355 .
