PHYS 4372 - Computational Physics Credit(s): 3
This course covers the basic numerical and computational techniques used in the solution of physical problems in the real world; approximation of functions, numerical differentiation and integration; and machine computation. It is intended to be a mathematical introduction to the theory and practical use of certain basic numerical methods that often arise in applications.
