This course provides an intense exploration of artistic developmental theories in the context of imagination’s role in education and the creative process. It offersstructured and practical use of art developmental theories in theatre educational practice and pedagogy and an overview of the grand theories of developmentof children from infancy through adolescence. Students understand and utilize developmental theory in curriculum and instruction, including special needs students, while receiving an introduction to the edTPA program.
