AVSC 1300 - Introduction to Aviation

This course introduces major topics of the aviation industry. Components of the course include history, regulations, air space, fundamentals of flight, propulsionand navigation. Basic crew concepts are introduced, and various career paths are investigated. Corporate, airline and airport operations are discussed. This will provide an overview of the aviation industry, available career paths, major challenges, key private and governmental agencies, and the skill and knowledge required to succeed within the industry.
