GOVT 3339 - Introduction to Strategic Intelligence

This course is an introduction to the role that intelligence plays in national decision-making. We examine the intelligence community and its capabilities, processes used by the intelligence community, the relationship between the intelligence community and policy-makers, accountability of intelligence operations, counterintelligence, and problems and examples of intelligence operations. The course focuses mainly on the US context, but will have some comparative political components as well.
