Requirements

The major in mathematics with teacher certification for grades 7-12 requires:

• CSC 102 - Computer Science Principles Credit(s): 3 or equivalent is required
• MTH 233 - Calculus I Credit(s): 3
• MTH 233L - Calculus I Lab Credit(s): 1
• MTH 234 - Calculus II Credit(s): 3
• MTH 234L - Calculus II Lab Credit(s): 1
• MTH 311 - Introduction to Modern Mathematics Credit(s): 3
• MTH 317 - Linear Algebra Credit(s): 3
• MTH 333 - Calculus III Credit(s): 3
• MTH 333L - Calculus III Lab Credit(s): 1
• MTH 337 - Differential Equations Credit(s): 3
• MTH 351 - College Geometry Credit(s): 3
• MTH 359 - Probability Modeling Credit(s): 3
• MTH 360 - Statistical Inference Credit(s): 3
• MTH 412 - Introduction to Algebraic Systems Credit(s): 3
• MTH 439 - Introduction to Analysis I Credit(s): 3
• MTH 440 - Introduction to Analysis II Credit(s): 3
• MTH 463 - Seminar in Mathematics II Credit(s): 1-3
