The secondary education program offers certification through general coursework and a SED minor. Students may obtain certification through coursework if their major does not accept the SED minor.

Prerequisite requirements for admission to the program and minor include HDFS 2302 and admission to the educator preparation program. These courses total 24 hours for the minor.

SEED 4150 - Assessment for Contemporary Classroom Lab Credit(s): 1
SEED 4360 - Motivating and Managing the Active Learning Environment Credit(s): 3
SEED 4242 - Clinical Teaching in a Secondary Learning Community Credit(s): 2-12
SEED 4343 - Education in a Global Society Credit(s): 3
