Requirements

May be added to existing standard or lifetime certificate by completing the following 13 hours of coursework:

• ELE 505 - Foundations of ESL/Bilingual Credit(s): 3
• ELE 506 - ESL Bilingual Assessment Credit(s): 3
• ELE 507 - ESL/Bilingual Teaching Methods Credit(s): 3
• ELE 515 - Language Acquisition for ESL/Bilingual Credit(s): 3
• SPA 475 - (1) Language Proficiency  Credit(s): 1 (if necessary)

Note

Must complete appropriate TExES Bilingual Supplemental and Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test exams.
