English Pedagogy, Advanced, Certificate

The Certificate in Advanced English Pedagogy is a program for teachers who want to further develop content knowledge in the field of college English and to do so with a pedagogical focus. All courses are taught by English faculty members who are specialists in the subfields taught. Designed to meet the flexibility requirements for teachers and other working individuals, this is a low-residency program consisting of online, face-to-face and hybrid courses. By low residency, we mean there will be times (typically summer or short semesters) where a candidate must be on campus to take classes, but some coursework may be offered remotely. Delivery formats for this program will evolve and will include the possibility of increasing distance offerings based on need and demand.
