Requirements

The mathematics teacher certification for grades 7-12 requires:

• CSCI 1302 - Computer Science Principles Credit(s): 3 or equivalent is required
• MATH 2313 - Calculus I Credit(s): 3
• MATH 2113 - Calculus I Lab Credit(s): 1
• MATH 2314 - Calculus II Credit(s): 3
• MATH 2114 - Calculus II Lab Credit(s): 1
• MATH 3360 - Introduction to Modern Mathematics Credit(s): 3
• MATH 3365 - Linear Algebra Credit(s): 3
• MATH 3315 - Calculus III Credit(s): 3
• MATH 3115 - Calculus III Lab Credit(s): 1
• MATH 3330 - Differential Equations Credit(s): 3
• MATH 3370 - College Geometry Credit(s): 3
• MATH 3340 - Probability Modeling Credit(s): 3
• MATH 3345 - Statistical Inference Credit(s): 3
• MATH 4320 - Introduction to Algebraic Systems Credit(s): 3
• MATH 4330 - Introduction to Analysis I Credit(s): 3
• MATH 4335 - Introduction to Analysis II Credit(s): 3
• MATH 4180 - Mathematical Exploration II Credit(s): 1 to 3
