This certificate program offers focused training in theatrical performance for students in other majors who want to study acting but are not focused on acting as a career. The courses allow students to get detailed training in all aspects of the art of the actor, including stage movement and theatre speech. It could be particularly of interest to filmmaking students who want to better understand actors or nontraditional students who perform in the community or the region and would like to deepen their skills without committing to a four-year degree.
