TECA 1311 - Educating Young Children

This lecture course provides an introduction to the importance and need for early childhood education from birth to age 8. It focuses on developmentally appropriate practice and gives an overview of observing and assessing young children. Other topics to be discussed include historical perspectives and the development of young children through the classroom curriculum.
