Introduces the art and science of live sound reinforcement and concert recording by examining how to configure components of a sound system to amplify musicians and public orators, both indoors and outdoors. Topics include the various types of microphones employed in live sound, the basics of how microphones are used in live applications, techniques used to eliminate feedback, applied live sound operation skill training and fundamental concepts of psychoacoustics.
