CMGT 4325 - Construction Project Administration: This 3-credit hour lecture course is designed to focus on the administrative procedures and documents used to manage construction projects under the major types of contracts typical in the US. All parties to the contract - the owner, the general contractor, the subcontractors, the architect, and the engineers - must participate in a complex system of communications and problem solving in order to complete these projects on time and per the conditions of the contract. Major topics in this course include project delivery systems, contract documents, meetings, negotiations, planning, scheduling, operations, payment, changes, and claims and disputes.
