NURS 4018 - Leadership and Coordination of Nursing Care Practicum Credit(s): 0
This course builds upon content from previous, concurrent, and prerequisite courses. Students will apply leadership and management principles in the delivery of patient-centered care. Students will explore legal, ethical, and economic factors that affect nursing practice as well as the role of professional nursing organizations in the advancement of the profession. Students will use evidence-based research to collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the care of groups of patients.Students will exhibit personal and professional integrity, responsibility, and accountability in the care of diverse patient populations and in leading diverse healthcare teams.
